  Location
Cranfield University campus is 40 minutes away from central London by train, with the nearest towns being Milton Keynes and Bedford. London Luton airport is the closest to the University, while Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted are all easily accessible via train and coach.

Cranfield Defence and Security is around 50 mins from London by train and around 25 mins from Bristol by train. Bath, Cheltenham, Bristol, and Oxford are all within an hour’s drive and London less than two hours away by car.   Find on Map 

  Student Life
Cranfield teaches over 5,000 postgraduate students each year and employs around 1,500 academic and support staff. Cranfield support staff can offer advice on visas and finance to international students, while the university also runs a pre-sessional English programme for international students.

Cranfield offer both catered and self-catered on campus accommodation, from halls of residence to shared houses, apartments for couples to houses for families. The University can also help to find private accommodation in nearby towns and villages. University rooms on the Shrivenham campus are generally reserved for military students. This scholarship was set up to recognise the academic achievements of our most capable candidates. The Cranfield MBA is highly competitive, and we look for a range of attributes in our candidates.

Funding value:- Up to £20,087.50 (50%) towards tuition fees.

(2) Global Clinical Supplies Group Scholarship
Scholarship amount £5,000
A scholarship is available for an outstanding UK candidate on the Full-time Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc or Procurement and Supply Chain Management MSc to the value of £5,000. The recipient will also benefit from an invitation (with expenses paid) to join the annual Global Clinical Supplies Group Conference taking place in Malta on 15 – 17 October 2024, which will provide a perfect insight into the pharmaceutical sector and a great networking opportunity.

The scholarship will be awarded based on the strength of the application as a whole, i.e. a deserving applicant based on merit with an interest in the pharmaceutical sector. Applications will be reviewed by the Course Director, Professor Hendrik Reefke.

Funding value £5,000.

Deadline 01 May 2024.

What it covers
The £5,000 scholarship will go toward the cost of the successful candidate's tuition fees.

The trip to the annual Global Clinical Supplies Group Conference in Malta includes the cost of flights, hotel and meals whilst at the Conference.

(3) Regional India Scholarship
Scholarship amount £10,000
Nationality International
The Cranfield MBA is made up of a very diverse cohort, with students from all over the world. We celebrate diversity at Cranfield, and this scholarship has been set up to help students from India.

Funding value £10,000 towards the tuition fees (25%).

Eligibility:
You have already achieved a GMAT over 650 at the date of your application submission.

You show evidence of academic success and strong career progression.

You can demonstrate outstanding professional and personal achievements.

You have exceptional interpersonal skills.

You are a self-funded candidate and a citizen of India.

(5) Cranfield Military Scholarship
Scholarship amount Up to £20,000
Leadership lessons learnt from military experience can be valuable in the world of business. People who have served in the military often demonstrate leadership, dedication and focus, qualities which we believe make an invaluable contribution to our MBA cohort. This scholarship has been established to help UK nationals with military experience advance their careers in business.

Funding value Up to £20,000 towards the tuition fees.

Eligibility
You are, or have been, a member of the armed forces.

You demonstrate inspirational leadership qualities and potential.

You show both individual strengths and excellent team working ability.

(6) Commonwealth Scholarships
Nationality International
These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), with the aim of contributing to the UK’s international development.

Students from developing countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the UK can apply for Commonwealth Scholarships for master’s or PhD study.

Purpose: to contribute to the development needs of Commonwealth countries by providing training for skilled and qualified professionals and academics who would not otherwise have been able to study in the UK.

Intended beneficiaries high-quality postgraduate students who have not studied extensively overseas before, who would not otherwise have the opportunity to study in the UK, and who have the potential to enhance the development of their home countries with the knowledge and leadership skills they acquire.

Funding value All tuition fees, travel and living costs.

What it covers
Approved airfare from your home country to the UK and return at the end of your award (the CSC will not reimburse the cost of fares for dependants, nor usually the cost of journeys made before your award is finally confirmed).

Approved tuition and examination fees.

Stipend (living allowance) at the rate of £1,133 per month (rates quoted at 2021-2022 levels).

Thesis grant towards the cost of preparing a thesis or dissertation, where applicable.

Warm clothing allowance, where applicable.

Study travel grant towards the costs of study-related travel within the UK or overseas.

For PhD scholars, fieldwork grant towards the cost of fieldwork undertaken overseas (usually the cost of one economy class return airfare to your fieldwork location), where approved.

For PhD scholars, paid mid-term visit (airfare) to your home country (unless you have claimed, or intend to claim, spouse and/or child allowances during your scholarship, or have received a return airfare to your home country for fieldwork).

Who can apply
To apply for these scholarships, you must:

Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.

Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.

Be available to start your academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in the following September/October;

If you are a PhD applicant, you must have the support of a potential supervisor from at least one UK university listed in your application form;

Be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.

The CSC would not normally fund a second UK master’s degree. If you are applying for a second UK master’s degree, you will need to provide justification as to why you wish to undertake this study.


(7) CCL Future of Digital Forensic Science Scholarship
Scholarship amount £6,000
CCL’s ‘Future of Digital Forensic Science Scholarship’ in partnership with the Cranfield Forensic Institute, has been developed to support highly talented individuals gain access to top-tier education in the field of digital forensics. With the advancement of technology, its widespread usage and subsequent misuse, there is a high demand for expertise regarding the need for digital forensic investigation. We recognise that this demand will continue into the future and therefore this scholarship acknowledges the need to support the development of the next generation of digital forensic practitioners.
We understand that accessing education and training can be difficult, where cost can be a restricting factor. We believe that providing individuals with appropriate knowledge and skills is of vital importance, particularly when they are related to the maintenance of secure societies.

The ‘Future of Digital Forensic Science Scholarship’ provides successful candidates with a £6,000 reduction of their Digital Forensic MSc course fees.

Funding value £6,000 reduction of Digital Forensic MSc course fees to existing offer holders.

What it covers
Scholarships are worth £6,000 toward the course tuition fee, and are not cumulative with other Cranfield scholarships or bursaries.

Who can apply
Applications are open to all high calibre students studying Digital Forensics MSc in 2024-25 on a full-time basis. Applicants must hold an existing offer from Cranfield University for Digital Forensics MSc.

(8) British Chevening Scholarships
Scholarship amount 100% Tution Fees
Nationality International
Chevening Scholarships are the UK Government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK. Awards are typically for a one-year master’s degree. The scholarships are for talented individuals who have been identified as potential future leaders across a wide range of fields, including politics, business, the media, civil society, religion and academia. Applicants should be high-calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership.

Chevening Scholars come from over 110 countries worldwide (excluding the USA and the EU), and this year the scholarships will support approximately 700 individuals. There are over 41,000 Chevening alumni around the world who together comprise an influential and highly-regarded global network.

Funding value Full scholarship including tuition fees, flights and living allowance.

What it covers
The scholarship covers tuition fees, travel and a monthly stipend plus more.

A full Chevening Scholarship normally comprises:

Payment of tuition fees (Chevening applies a tuition fee cap of £18,000 to MBA programmes - applicants will be expected to cover the remaining costs above the £18,000 cap);

Economy travel to and from your country of residence by an approved route for you only;

An arrival allowance;

The cost of an entry clearance (visa) application for you only;

A departure allowance;

A contribution of up to £75 for TB testing, where this is required;

A travel top-up allowance;

A monthly personal living allowance (stipend) to cover accommodation and living expenses. The monthly stipend will depend on whether you are studying inside or outside London. These rates are subject to annual review. Stipend payments will be made to you on or around the 21st of the month for the following full month. Where you arrive in the UK or leave the UK part way through the month, the stipend for that month will be adjusted as appropriate.

Who can apply
To be eligible for a Chevening award you must:

Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country;

Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended;

Have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a postgraduate programme at a UK university - this is typically equivalent to an upper second class 2:1 honours degree in the UK;

Have at least two years’ work experience (this may be up to five years for fellowship programmes - please refer to your country page for further details);

Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by July following your application submission;

Meet the Chevening English language requirement by July following your application submission.
