Adelphi University is a prestigious university in Garden City, New York. A private institution dating back to its inception in Brooklyn in 1863; more than 8,100 students are currently enrolled at the University.

Campus life is laden with opportunity at Adelphi University. There are more than 100 student organizations for students to get involved with and make new friends. Athletics is a big part of campus life as twenty-three NCAA Division II varsity teams play sports such as soccer, basketball, lacrosse and volleyball. A range of art exhibitions, concerts, plays, film screenings and more events are also hosted throughout the year for students with a different range of interests. Volunteer opportunities are surplus across campus as there is a big community feel and multicultural events to integrate students with other cultures.

Several on-campus accommodation options are available to students at Adelphi University. There are six residence halls housing student communities. Each hall comes equipped with Wi-Fi, free laundry facilities, fully furnished rooms, large lounges with kitchens, and other amenities. Nevertheless, each hall has its own unique features to differentiate one hall from another in terms of its appeal. Senior students can enjoy fully furnished apartments with a kitchen, living room, laundry facilities, 24/7 security and more in university apartments.
