  About the Institution
Cascadia College is a public community college located in Bothell, Washington. Established in 2000, it shares a campus with the University of Washington Bothell. Cascadia College seeks to inspire each student to achieve their educational and career goals.

Approximately 120 international students from 32 countries around the world come to study at Cascadia College in Washington. All courses are taught by experienced professors rather than graduate students in small class sizes, with a focus on experiential learning.

Cascadia College has a wide range of high quality facilities for students to use to enhance their learning. The campus library and bookstore both have a wealth of readily available information and resources to refer to, while the computing services found on campus prove invaluable to improving workflow.

Students also have the opportunity to use the first-rate gym and sports fields for a well-rounded experience. A meditation room is available for access to relax or pray, plus food services to provide convenient places to grab a bite to eat while on campus.

  Location
Situated in Bothell, the area is part of the Seattle metropolitan area, located near the northeast end of Lake Washington. Opportunities are abundant for socialising in the nearby board game cafe, farmer’s market, Blyth park and other nearby hives of activity.

Seattle has a rich music history, so you might want to take in the local culture on a Seattle City Highlights Tour or frequent the historical museum in the day before venturing out to local bars in the evening.

  Student Life
The Activities & Recreation Center offers events, programs, and services that are cultural, social and educational in nature. There are many clubs you can join, from music to engineering; French to sustainability, and beyond.

Dedicated Community Engagement Officers (CEOs) ensure people get involved in campus life and encourage a sense of belonging so students can develop a well-rounded sense of wellbeing.

There is no accommodation provided for students, however most international students stay with American host families via homestay programs. This provides an integral opportunity to improve language skills and experience authentic American culture. Many students also find comfortable apartments near the college so they can easily commute to the campus, with many different options available.

Living expenses tend to be low in Bothell, where the campus is based. Cascadia commuter services are available to streamline commuting to the campus, including options such as using the community van programme to reduce single commuter trips.
