Student Life
The Heskett Center and Student Wellness Center provides opportunities to get involved with intramural sports. The Global Learning Center provides support services for international students to help them adapt to campus life and connect with other students.
Sports
Wichita’s Shockers (the name for its students) are famously athletic, with 15 NCAA Division 1 teams with two NCAA Final Fours and an NCAA National Championship. There are 1,000 free seats reserved for students at each men’s basketball home game.
Student Life
As well as being the most racially and ethnically diverse college campus in the state, there’s plenty going on at Wichita State University. There are more than 350 annual on-campus events, over 200 student organisations and the campus even has its own Food Truck Plaza for local food trucks.
