California Lutheran University is a selective, comprehensive institution offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in the liberal arts and professional fields. CLU is situated in Thousand Oaks, California. Just 25 minutes from the Pacific Coast and 30 minutes to Los Angeles, the city enjoys 330 days of sunshine annually. An affluent area voted one of the best places to live in California; students can enjoy hiking sports in the Paradise Falls area, visit the Promenade shopping centre at Westlake or take in local culture at all the museums.

A range of housing options are available at California Lutheran University. The university proudly provides 15 residence halls to choose from, staffed by Resident Assistants who are on hand to help. CLU guarantees housing for full-time undergraduate students and living-learning communities for students who want special housing arrangements.

  Student Life
The Office of International Students and Scholars offers workshops, advice, and social activities for international students. 100+ student groups are available to join, including the African Student Association, Line Dance Club, Women in Business, plus more.

Its 225-acre campus is between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, just 20 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. CLU was ranked 29th for Campus Ethnic Diversity in the U.S. News Best Colleges rankings.
