  About the Institution
Seattle Central College was founded in 1966 to provide first-rate college transfer education, career training and an all-around fantastic experience to local and international students. It is a crucial part of a network of three colleges and five specialised training centres in the Seattle area, one of which is Seattle Central College.

Approximately 16000 students enrol annually, with around 2000 being international students from more than 40 countries.

Seattle Central College offers students advanced technology for comprehensive student support. The campus boasts modern, well-equipped libraries, communal student spaces, computer labs, and classrooms where students can study, collaborate, and learn. Additionally, students can access various athletic facilities, including sports fields, swimming pools, and fitness centres, to stay fit and healthy. Seattle Central College also provides support services such as well-being, health, and career counselling.

  Location
Seattle is a diverse and exciting city that attracts international students because of its liberal attitude, multiculturalism and rich musical history. Students can enjoy live music, cultural tours and a low cost of living compared to other American cities. Seattle was voted the 11th best place in the country for finding a job, so students sometimes make a long-term home there.

  Student Life
Seattle Central College has a vibrant campus life that fosters social change, diversity, and inclusion. The College hosts regular events and opportunities for students to network with professionals. Student clubs are a big part of the student experience. Students can join the athletic program to compete in basketball, soccer, and volleyball or participate in various other activities, such as environmental campaigns.

Seattle Central College offers a range of accommodation options for its students, including on-campus and off-campus housing. Fully furnished apartment-style accommodations at the Broadway Building are available for international students. The apartments have kitchen and laundry facilities, and students can live in a single or shared room. This provides students with the traditional student experience. Sometimes students can opt for off-campus housing options such as shared housing and private apartments that can be found through online resources or local rental agencies. The College provides support services to help students find potential roommates and house-share options.
