  About the Institution
For over 50 years, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) has been providing people from around the world with a rich academic and professional education. With 17,000 students from 100 different countries enrolled, CCCU has a passionate belief in the power of Higher Education to enrich and transform lives. Records for graduates in employment are some of the best in the UK, and the research community has an international reputation. In the latest National Student Survey, Canterbury Christ Church received its highest ever score for student satisfaction.

The University has three vibrant and exciting campuses. Each one is different, but all have the essence of the university at their heart. Over recent years, multi-million pound developments have ensured CCCU students enjoy the very best facilities. State-of-the-art libraries, study rooms and IT will provide you with all the academic resources you need, while the sports centre and fitness suite offer the opportunity to exercise and play a huge range of sports. The Centre for Music features top-quality performance, rehearsal and practice areas, and if you choose to study the visual arts or media, you’ll enjoy superb workshop and exhibition spaces.

  Location
Canterbury’s accessibility (less than one hour from London!) and vast range of attractions make it an extremely popular destination for visitors from all around the world. This has resulted in the creation of a vibrant international community that offers plenty to do and see. So whatever part of the world you’re from, you’ll find lots of opportunities to make new friends and share new experiences.

Canterbury, home to the main campus, is famous throughout the world for its cathedral, its history and its beauty, and is one of the safest university cities in the country. The town of Broadstairs is the seaside creative centre, and students who study here can take inspiration from its beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. Finally, the Medway campus features award-winning buildings, brand new purpose-built facilities and is a 40 minute train ride away from London.   Find on Map

  Student Life

An International Student Welcome Guide is emailed to all new international students prior to arrival, while social media services offer helpful tips and information throughout the year to help students with any query or concern.

There’s a fantastic mixture of accommodation to choose from, and because Canterbury is a small city it’s all within walking distance of the main campus, library, Students’ Union and Sports Centre. As a student in University accommodation you’ll enjoy:

Choice of en suite or shared accommodation
